This week’s Friday Quick Pic features an appetizer I created from an ingredient that is new to me: pea shoots.
During my trip to the local farmer’s market on Saturday, one of the vendors offered me a sample of pea shoots.They tasted so refreshing and delicious. I was inspired to create the pictured appetizer. It’s so simple with only four ingredients: multi-grain crackers, cream cheese, pea sprouts and a slice of a grape tomato. Trying something new has boosted my energy and creativity all week.
